Open Positions

Prospective postdocs: My current funding portfolio supports extra postdocs. If you are considering being a postdoc with me, please send an email with your Curriculum Vitae enclosed and a detailed description of your past research experiences. When there are good candidates that fit our research scope, I can consider opening a position at any time.

Prospective Ph.D. students: Current undergraduate or master's students are encouraged to apply to our Ph.D. program. The department usually recruits graduate students through a committee mechanism, but the PI can hire individually on exceptional circumstances. If you would like to inquire about openings, please send an email to the PI with your Curriculum Vitae and Unofficial Transcript enclosed.

Students who do not have grades in linear algebra should not consider this.

Message to undergraduate/master students: If you are currently an undergraduate student or master's student at NC State, and would like to gain research experience in our group, please send an email to the PI with a copy of your Unofficial Transcript enclosed.

If you have a B grade in calculus-level mathematics, or feel reluctant to build a solid proof-based foundation in mathematics, do not consider this.

Message to prospective visiting students: Current Ph.D. students from other institutions working in relevant research fields, with proper funding sources, are encouraged to join us.
